Privacy Notice

What we collect

When you submit feedback (Yes or No), we record the instruction code, revision, language, and your answer. When you answer No, we also record the reason categories you select. We do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses, free text, or any other personal data.

When assistant analytics is enabled, we also record daily counts of assistant opens, topic and question selections, and links opened to instruction sections — by instruction code, revision, displayed language, and Q&A content revision. We do not store individual events, timestamps, the order of your actions, your question or answer text, or any visitor identifier.

When page-view analytics is enabled, we also record daily counts of instruction page opens — by instruction code, revision, and displayed language. We do not store individual events, timestamps, your IP address, any visitor or session identifier, or the pages you visited before or after.

Infrastructure

This site uses third-party services that may process technical request data (such as IP addresses) in accordance with their own privacy policies:

  • Vercel — access logs (IP, User-Agent, request path).
  • Upstash — IP address stored as a rate-limit key for up to about 2 minutes, then auto-deleted.
  • Neon — technical connection logs.

Data retention

Feedback responses are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted automatically. Infrastructure provider logs are retained per each provider's policy.

Assistant analytics counters are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted automatically.

Page-view analytics counters are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted automatically.
